What would Grandmother Willow say to that?

I watched a fascinating documentary about dreams on Netflix instant called "What Are Dreams?: Nova" -- it is in our instant queue if you want to check it out. I was particularly intrigued by the discovery that there are two fundamental types of dreams -- REM state and non-REM state -- and dream experts theorize that each plays a different role. Particularly interesting thing about that was that in one type time is sped up (as in Inception) and in the other (non-REM I believe) time is not sped up. Check it out if you have an hour on your hands or perhaps you could REM state dream it in 30 seconds ;-)

Also, I love this quote by the poet Samuel Coleridge: "If a man could pass through Paradise in a dream, and have a flower presented to him as a pledge that his soul had really been there, and if he found that flower in his hand when he awake — Aye, what then?"

Love, DadAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
